　　創(chuàng)作靈感

　　《海洋之歌》是根據(jù)愛爾蘭的關(guān)于一個(gè)塞爾奇小精靈的民間傳說改編而成的。導(dǎo)演湯姆·摩爾與兒子在一次旅行的途中，因?yàn)榭吹胶┥嫌腥瞬稓⒑１械酵葱模俾?lián)想到愛爾蘭傳說中海豹象征逝者的靈魂，就此構(gòu)思了整個(gè)故事。當(dāng)時(shí)導(dǎo)演的兒子十歲，拍完電影后已經(jīng)十九歲了，逐幀手繪和精細(xì)制作傾盡了整個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)的心血。

　　愛爾蘭歷史上由于傳統(tǒng)而保守的農(nóng)作存留時(shí)間較長(zhǎng)，再加上其鼓勵(lì)民歌、器樂、舞蹈以及說唱藝術(shù)的發(fā)展，故當(dāng)?shù)匾魳肪哂懈鼮闈庥舻奶烊患儤闾刭|(zhì)。其音樂注重留白，較少使用打擊樂，因此輕柔如耳語(yǔ)，寧?kù)o亦恬淡。當(dāng)純凈清澈的女聲將民謠娓娓道來(lái)時(shí)，那些特色樂器(諸如風(fēng)笛、木長(zhǎng)笛、錫哨、菲爾德、六角手風(fēng)琴等)便常常作為副旋律或和聲織體與之輝映。

　　豎琴是愛爾蘭最具代表性的民族樂器，清麗的音質(zhì)對(duì)塑造愛爾蘭的音樂形態(tài)起到關(guān)鍵性作用。它亦被愛爾蘭作為國(guó)徽，以"天使之琴"象征寧?kù)o、和平、博愛，鼓舞民族堅(jiān)毅果敢，奮勇向前。
