　　The Russia-China joint naval exercise, scheduled to be held from April 22 to 27 in the Yellow Sea of the Pacific Ocean, officially started on Sunday morning.

　　The drill involves a total of 16 vessels and two submarines from the Chinese Navy and fourwarships from the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet as well as three supply ships. The exercise will focus on joint maritime air defense and defense of marine traffic arteries, including subjects of joint escort, maritime search and rescue, anti-submarine tactics as well as joint effort to rescue hijacked vessels.

　　中方參演兵力包括艦艇16艘、潛艇2艘。俄羅斯海軍太平洋艦隊(duì)派出4艘軍艦和2艘補(bǔ)給艦。聯(lián)合演習(xí)的主題是“海上聯(lián)合防御和保交作戰(zhàn)”，重點(diǎn)演練聯(lián)合聯(lián)合護(hù)航、聯(lián)合搜救、聯(lián)合反潛以及解救被劫船舶等科目。
